Africa | Africa Travel Recovery, Opportunities & Risks (April)
Africa’s travel industry has still been devastated by the ongoing restrictions and reduced tourist sentiment from the global health crisis. Recovery in travel is set to begin in 2021 but international arrivals are still expected to remain 56% below 2019 levels in 2021, with a return to pre-crisis levels not expected until 2024. In this issue of Africa Travel Recovery, Opportunities & Risks, we explore:
- When will Africa’s international and domestic travel recover?
- How vaccine rollout will help propel Africa’s travel recovery?
- What are the drivers that could help stimulate future tourism growth in Africa?
