Louise Loo joined Oxford Economics in 2022, with a focus on Greater China. Prior to OE, she was a senior economist at Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs. At Goldman Sachs, she was also an advisor to China MoF with regards to its sovereign credit rating. Louise is originally from Malaysia and has earned Economics and public policy degrees with Sheffield University and Columbia University.

Louw is the senior political analyst at Oxford Economics Africa. He joined the company in 2020 after five years with South Africa’s official opposition party, serving as its operations director at Parliament. He has an obsessive relationship with African politics and covers South Africa and several other countries.

Lucila holds a BA in Economics and a master’s degree in Economics of Public Policy from the Barcelona School of Economics. Her research focuses on emerging markets macro and strategy, along with country-specific coverage of Argentina and Uruguay. She joined Oxford Economics after working at one of LatAm’s top economic think tanks and several international organisations (ECLAC, UNDP, OECD).

Lyle is a junior economist at Oxford Economics Africa and graduated recently with a master’s degree in Economics from the University of Cape Town. His focus is on forecasting and providing macroeconomic analysis on Southern and Central Africa. Lyle joined the company in 2023 and has taken a keen interest in identifying the key drivers of Africa’s development.

• Expert support to multi-national infrastructure operators, developers, government organisations and financial institutions, based on a detailed understanding of over 100 privately financed transport projects.
• Track record in delivering robust commercial traffic and revenue analysis for toll road, managed lane, rail and parking projects.
• Development of innovative methodological frameworks and analytic approaches, blending big data, consumer insight and pricing for revenue growth.
• Expertise in financial and cash flow modelling with a proven ability to bring together engineering and financial concepts to produce robust and comprehensible modelling outputs.

Makoto Tsuchiya is an Economist at Oxford Economics. As a country economist for the Philippines, he provides economic analysis on the country and writes periodic reports as well as data insights and research briefings discussing timely issues regarding the economy. He also provides region-wide analysis on Asia Pacific emerging economies and supports Business Development team by providing trainings and demos to various clients and prospects. Makoto has a Bachelor's degree from Temple University Japan where he majored in Economics with a minor in Business Studies. He also has sophisticated knowledge in the corporate accounting field.

Marcos assists clients in the corporate sector at Oxford Economics in gaining key insights from our forecasts and analyses, as well as understanding how to use economic insights to make strategic business decisions.

He is based in our London office. Prior to working in corporate advisory, Marcos was the chief economist and general manager for Oxford Economics in Latin America based in Mexico City, in charge of managing a team of economists producing research and forecasts for over 30 countries as well as leading several consultancy projects with major firms. Before joining Oxford Economics in 2012, Marcos completed his MSc in Economics & Finance at the Barcelona School of Economics and worked at the Brazilian Development Bank in Rio de Janeiro. Marcos is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

Maree is a senior economist in the property and building forecasting team at Oxford Economics Australia, analysing demographic trends, housing markets and policy shifts. Having worked in industry economics for 10 years, Maree’s primary responsibility is residential property forecasts which are distributed through our subscription products, most notably the recently released ResRadar.

Margarida joined Oxford Economics in 2019 as a graduate in the London office.

She works in the Applied Economics team where she has been involved in a variety of projects, including a literature review on the effectiveness of soft drink taxation on health and revenue objectives, and a literature review on the benefits of digital services in Europe. She has also supported the econometric modelling of future demand for meat in the UK and several reports on the economic, societal, and cultural benefits of YouTube in different countries.

Before joining Oxford Economics, Margarida worked for the Portuguese Agency for Trade and Investment in London. She holds both a BSc and a MSc in Economics from NOVA SBE and while completing her dissertation, she did an internship at the Portuguese Ministry of Economy.

Marietha is an econometrician on the consulting team at Oxford Economics Africa. She began her career as an economist at a development economics consulting firm in South Africa, where she spent ten years specialising in the analysis of economic development issues for both public and private sector clients. Marietha holds a Bachelor of Commerce Honours degree in Econometrics from the University of Pretoria, South Africa, graduating with distinction.

Mark Britton is a Director within Oxford Economics’ Cities Team. He leads a team of economists to provide clients with global city-level forecasts and research through a range of subscription products and consultancy projects.

Mark has more than 15 years’ experience in regional forecasting, model building and economic analysis for a broad range of clients across both the public and private sectors. He has a keen interest in developing quantitative solutions using a range of data science, econometric and geospatial techniques to provide organisations around the world with the tools to make more informed location decisions.

Mark recently coordinated the development of a new climate scenario service, which quantifies the impact of climate-related transition and physical risks on city and regional economies. He has led major consultancy projects, with recent examples including socioeconomic scenario analysis to support the development of city masterplans in the Middle East; commercial real estate forecasting; and location benchmarking to support strategic investment decisions.

Mark Killion, CFA, is Director of Director of US Industry Services at Oxford Economics, with extensive experience in research and modelling for economics and finance, also skilled in the presentation of insightful conclusions and strategies. Killion brings value to companies and governments by developing state-of-the-art products that use innovative metrics to reliably forecast market conditions, and benchmark business performances.

Mark is responsible for the UK and European Real Estate Economics Service having joined Oxford Economics in 2021 following 6 years at Cushman & Wakefield as Partner - Head of EMEA Forecasting. At Cushman, Mark led the quarterly city-level property forecasting service, produced pan-European property market consultancy reports and authored a range of content on cyclical and thematic issues. Prior to that Mark spent 7 years at GIC Real Estate as an Assistant Vice President in their Global Research & Strategy team focussing on European market analysis, investment strategy and asset allocation.

Martina is Director in our Macro and Investor Services team where she looks after OE's Real Estate Economics Service and also heads up the Corporate Advisory team. The corporate advisory team supports executives at corporates in bringing the power of economics to their planning, investment, and monitoring work and bridges the gap between economic analysis and impactful business decisions. 

Previously, Martina was Chief Research Officer at FrontierView where she oversaw the company's global research team and worked extensively to support VPs of region, CFOs, and strategy leaders at some of the world's largest multinational companies. Her background combines economic and political training with extensive experience of applying these to the needs of global business leaders. Martina holds a BA in International Affairs from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service, and a MA in Eurasian, Russian, and East European studies from Georgetown. 

Mateusz Urban is a Senior Economist within the macro forecasting division of Oxford Economics. He is providing coverage of Poland and Hungary, alongside a host of smaller economies. Beyond that, he is producing thematic research on the ECB and the eurozone. He is based in Frankfurt and Warsaw.

Previously, he was working in the Scenarios, Stress Testing and Financial Modelling team in London. Before joining Oxford Economics, he interned at Deloitte, working in the economic analysis team, and at Oxera, a consultancy, where he focused on economic modelling and forecasting. Mateusz holds a MA in Political Economy degree from Duke University and a first-class BSc in Economics degree from the University of Nottingham.

Since joining Oxford Economics Matthew has built on his expertise in economic consultancy,​ developing a specialty in economic impact assessments, cost-benefit analysis and policy development. Currently, Matthew helps lead the EMEA tourism consultancy unit within Oxford Economics.

Matthew has completed a number of tourism impact and policy studies for destinations around the world as well as for discrete parts of the accommodation and aviation sectors. He has also been the lead analyst for the development of a number of tourism satellite accounts and has been heavily involved in our work to assess the total economic value of various cultural and environmental assets.

Previously Matthew worked at KPMG, where he focused on winning and delivering economic consultancy work in key local, national and European markets. Matthew holds a first-class economics degree from the University of Ulster.

Matthew is based in our London office and leads the Business Development team with responsibilities for corporate and government clients in the UK & Ireland. Having joined Oxford Economics in 2015 he has extensive experience and knowledge in building tailored solutions  for clients within both the public and private sectors and has a passion for establishing and maintaining lasting relationships with clients. Matthew holds a degree in Politics and International Relations from the University of Kent. 

Matt is a Senior US Economist at Oxford Economics. His research focuses on short-term and structural trends, including the build out of proprietary datasets and models to gauge fluctuation in business cycles. He shares responsibility for forecasting the US economy. He produces commentary on high frequency data including trade, inflation, and manufacturing.

Matt holds a master’s degree in economics New York University, and a bachelor’s degree in international business and economics from the University of South Carolina.

Matthew is an Economist within Oxford Economics' Global Industry Service, working on subscription service developments. He is responsible for monitoring and forecasting the construction industry, as well as developments to the forecasting process for the sector. He also works on a variety of bespoke research projects and recurring forecasting projects for clients operating in the construction sector, but also other sectors such as aerospace.

In addition to his work on the GIS, Matthew contributes to Oxford Economics' Global Construction Service and is responsible for the United States Construction Forecasting Service.

He first joined as a placement student in 2020, before returning in 2022 after completing his Economics and Management degree at Loughborough University.

Matthew heads-up the subscriptions sales team in the Middle East and is responsible for strategic and commercial activities across the region. He joined the team in 2021 and is based in our Dubai office. Prior to joining Oxford Economics, Matthew was a Sales Director at Fitch Solutions covering business development across the Middle East having moved to Dubai from London to help set-up their UAE office in 2015. Matthew holds a Master’s degree in Management (with a speciality in International Business) and a Batchelor’s degree in Philosophy, both from the University of Sheffield.
