Jake Kuyer is an Associate Director and leads the Economics & Sustainability team within Economic Impact Consulting. He has extensive experience applying economics to challenges around the environment and social impact. He has managed numerous projects across the public, private and third sectors covering a broad range of fields. At Oxford Economics, he works with our economic models, such as our bespoke Global Sustainability Model, to embed sustainability into our offerings. He works with clients to understand both their impact and dependence on the environment, and to achieve their sustainability ambitions.

Prior to Oxford Economics, he worked for a multi-national engineering firm focusing on environmental impact, an economics think tank focusing on social value, and a boutique consultancy specialising in environmental economics. He has earned degrees with distinction from the University of Victoria, Canada, and the University of Edinburgh, UK.

James is a Lead Economist working within the Economic Footprint and Sustainability team of Oxford Economics. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics from Newcastle University. For his dissertation, James was awarded the European Award for Aviation Economics by the German Aviation Research Society. Since joining the team in 2016, James has worked on a range of high-profile economic impact studies for clients including the World Brewing Alliance, Airbus, and Sky.

James is the Director of Oxford Economics’ economic consulting services in Asia.

James moved to this role from Oxford Economics’ London office, where he headed up a team dedicated to exploring the economic impact of technology. He delivered high profile studies on the growth of the digital economy, the impact of automation and the implications for the labour market.

Prior to joining Oxford Economics, James spent over six years in the Government Economics Service. He worked in economics teams of the Cabinet Office, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and the Department for Transport. There, he gained experience in microeconomic analysis and impact assessment as well as international macroeconomics, economic risk analysis and energy security. In the FCO, James spent three years working on economic issues in East and South East Asia. He also previously worked for the International Labour Organization.

James is a Research Manager within the Thought Leadership team and has been with Oxford Economics since November 2020.

James' work mainly covers strategy and operations but also spans projects covering technology and finance for clients such as Accenture, EY, Cognizant, and YouTube.

Prior to joining Oxford Economics, James worked for Walker Books on the other side of the river to our Westminster office, in Vauxhall. James has a BA (Hons) in Economics from the University of Sheffield.

Jamie Snowdon oversees data capture and analysis for Oxford Economics’ Thought Leadership group. Leading a dedicated team, Jamie ensures the provision of robust data input for evidence-based thought leadership programmes, delivering in-depth data analysis, impactful visualisations and intuitive analytical tools.

Jamie joined Oxford Economics in 2022, bringing over 25 years of experience in the IT and Business Services industry. During his career, he has held senior research and management roles at leading technology research companies, including PAC, IDC, HFS Research and Market Prescience. Jamie’s analyst career has largely been spent conducting data analysis, including developing market size/forecast models, conducting quantitative/qualitative survey analysis and performing competitive analysis.

Jamie holds bachelor's degrees in Computer Science and Law.

Jamie is Head of Macro Scenarios. He leads the production of macro-economic scenarios for the Global Scenario Service and is responsible for identifying and writing about key risks to the global economy.

Jamie joined Oxford Economics from the Bank of England, where he worked for 17 years on a range of monetary and financial stability issues to support both the Monetary Policy Committee and the Financial Policy Committee. Most recently, Editor of the Bank’s Financial Stability Report and Financial Stability Papers series, Jamie has written and edited extensively for the Bank’s flagship publications, including the Inflation Report.

Jan Sun is a Senior Economist in the Economic Impact Consulting Team in Continental Europe, based in Berlin, Germany. His work focuses on economic impact and policy impact assessments. He has worked on and led projects in various fields such as creative industries, e-commerce, industrial policy, housing and digital platforms. He has worked with public and private clients, including federal ministries, industry associations and high-profile companies.

Prior to joining Oxford Economics, Jan completed a PhD in economics at the University of Mannheim in 2022. He also holds a master’s degree in economics from the University of Mannheim and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Munich. He has previously worked at the University of Mannheim, the University of Munich and as an intern at the German central bank in the financial stability department.

Javier Corominas is Director of Global Macro Strategy at Oxford Economics. He is co-responsible for global strategic asset allocation as well the tactical calls across all asset classes. Additionally, he has a significant focus on providing thematic macro strategy research to generate actionable investment advice for asset allocators, portfolio managers and corporate Treasurers.

Javier is a senior macro and multi-asset investment strategist with over 16 years' experience in active portfolio management as well as in independent macro research.

He has a background in macro-economic modelling and forecasting, portfolio optimization and risk budgeting, asset allocation (SAA and TAA), relative value models and global thematic investment research. This is coupled with a demonstrable track record in drawing conclusions for key asset markets, and developing profitable trade and investment strategies in FX, rates and the liquid asset classes.

Prior to re-joining Oxford Economics, he was a Director and Head of Research at Record Currency Management, one of the largest institutional currency managers in the world, with pension funds, insurance companies, family offices and private equity houses as clients globally.

Javier is regular commentator on currency, fixed income and broader global macro themes in the financial media/press and a regular speaker and presenter at global investment conferences and fora.

Javier holds both a First-Class Degree and an M. Phil in Economics from Cambridge University. He has a keen interest in world history and all manner of racquet sports, and is also fluent in Spanish and French.

Jee-A is a senior economist at Oxford Economics Africa. He began his career at COFCO International and also worked at Allan Gray. He is responsible for the macroeconomic analysis of South Africa while his insights extend to the broader Southern Africa region. Jee-A holds a master’s degree in risk management.

Jeffrey Klonoski oversees consultancy sales for North America. He works in close collaboration with clients to enhance their public affairs, corporate strategy and thought leadership initiatives via bespoke economic and qualitative analysis.

Jeffrey has over 15 years of experience in research and analytics. His clients include Fortune 500 corporates, global trade groups and intergovernmental organizations. His project experience includes economic and policy impact, trade and excise and supply chain, inflation, future of cities and payments and financial inclusion, as well as a range of other issues. Prior to joining Oxford Economics, he had an eight-year run with an opinion research firm, managing strategic partnerships and doubling as a research director. Jeffrey holds a BBA in Marketing Research from James Madison University.

Jennifer is an Economist in the Scenario and Modelling team where she contributes to the creation of the Global Scenario Service and Global Climate Service. Alongside that, she focuses on a number of bespoke client scenarios, both climate and non-climate related.

Before joining Oxford Economics she worked as an econometric analysist an Magic Numbers. She holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Westminster and she is fluent in English and Italian.  

Jens is responsible for business development across Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Eastern Europe, where he drives strategic growth initiatives and manages the client business. Within the region he and his team seek to deliver data-driven answers and solutions on economic intelligence matters to clients among all lines of businesses and institutions.

Just prior to joining Oxford Economics, Jens has worked as a consultant in strategy and business development at BMW Group. Holding a Bachelor's degree in Corporate Management and & Economics, He gained international experience working in Mozambique, Brazil and China.

Jeremy Leonard is responsible for overseeing the work of the industry forecasting team and managing the operation and output of Oxford Economics’ Global Industry Model as well as related consultancy work.

Jeremy’s knowledge and past experience span a broad range, including competitiveness and offshoring/reshoring, commodity price modelling, and applied economic research on sectors ranging from biotech to heavy manufacturing to telecoms. In addition to numerous recurring bespoke sales and output forecasts for industries as diverse as machine tools and consumer packaging, recent consulting assignments have included the drivers of competitiveness in the chemical sector, forward-looking analyses of high-growth sectors across a range of emerging economies, and the ways in which digital technologies are transforming economic activity across manufacturing and service sectors.

Prior to joining Oxford Economics, Jeremy ran his own consulting firm based in Montreal, Canada providing a variety of economic analysis and forecasting services related to commodity prices, competitiveness, and the Canadian and US economic outlooks for the Washington, DC-based Manufacturers Alliance for Productivity and Innovation, as well as serving as economic research director for the Montreal-based Institute for Research on Public Policy.

Born and raised in Washington, DC, Jeremy was educated at the University of Pennsylvania and McGill University, where he received his MA in Economics summa cum laude. He also speaks fluent French.

Jervin is a political analyst at Oxford Economics Africa, specialising in the political coverage of the DRC, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, and several East African countries. Before joining OEA, Jervin honed his expertise in academia and research at the University of Pretoria's Department of Political Science, the Institute for Security Studies, and the Global Initiative against Transnational Organised Crime. He holds an MA in International Political Economy from the University of Warwick. His areas of expertise include security and intelligence, foreign policy, and the illicit economy.

Jessie is an Economist within the Tourism team, publishing research and analysis on tourism and travel trends, with a particular focus on the Americas region. Jessie has also been involved in consultancy projects for a range of clients including Airbnb, Booking.com, and the World Travel and Tourism Council.

Jessie joined Oxford Economics after graduating with a first-class honours degree in Economics from the University of Exeter along with industry experience. After completing her placement year at the Department for Work and Pensions, specialising in Universal Credit strategy around children, Jessie also rebranded the Government economics schools outreach programme, improving the diversity of students studying economics in further education. 

Jessie Wang is currently a senior business development manager of Oxford Economics, based in its Hong Kong office. Jessie has over 15 years of experience in sales and account management working in Beijing and Hong Kong, serving clients from various background in greater China region. Jessie holds a bachelor's degree from Beijing University of Technology in International Trade and Economics.

Joan Domene is the Chief Economist for Latin America and is responsible for developing Oxford Economics' view on the region. Joan is responsible for producing macroeconomic forecasts for Mexico. He manages a team of economists who produce regional and country-specific research on over 30 countries. Joan’s work also involves presenting the outlook to clients and liaising with the media. Joan joined Oxford Economics in 2019 as Senior Economist after 5 years at a Mexican private bank.

Joe is an Economist on the Global Industry Service at Oxford Economics. He is responsible for the sectoral forecasts of the extraction sector. Alongside that, he works on a number of bespoke projects with a focus on the United States.

Before joining Oxford Economics, he worked for two years as a consultant at Applied Economics Consulting Group in Texas. Joe holds a MA and BA in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin. He is fluent in English, Spanish, and French.

Johanna Neuhoff is Director for economic consulting services in Continental Europe. She is an expert evaluating the impact of policy changes, in forecasting and scenario building as well as in economic impact assessments. Her extensive knowledge in the real estate, housing, mobility/transport, and the green economy sector helped her in leading several complex and international consulting projects for public and private clients.

Prior to Oxford Economics, Johanna Neuhoff worked at DIW Econ, the consultancy firm of the German Institute for Economic Research, and two boutique consultancy firms. Johanna Neuhoff holds a Diploma with a focus on social and political sciences in Economics from the University of Potsdam, Germany, and a Master’s Degree in Economics from the University of Milwaukee-Wisconsin, USA, - both degrees with special distinction.
